Marion Police are investigating a report of shots fired in the 700 block of South Bentley Street just after 3 Thursday afternoon.

Police say that a tan or gold older model car, possibly a Mercury Marquis or a similar type, had fired shots out the car window while driving northbound in the 700 block.

Three homes sustained damage. No one was injured.
