(Zeigler, IL) — Zeigler Police arrested a man Tuesday afternoon for allegedly robbing Casey’s General Store last Wednesday. Police say 25-year-old Jared L. Kelly was taken into custody for armed robbery and lodged in the Franklin County Jail on $250,000 bond. Kelly walked into the store around 10:30 p.m., showed a knife and demanded money from the clerk. He got away with some cash and ran. The Sesser and Christopher police departments helped Zeigler Police in making the arrest.
