(East St. Louis, IL) — Police in East St. Louis say a carjacked tow truck was set on fire to destroy evidence. The 80-thousand-dollar truck was found Sunday in a burning pile of pallets. The manager at “Hartman’s Auto Center,” said his driver was robbed, beaten and left for dead by three men Saturday night. The investigation is ongoing.
