(MT. VERNON, IL) — The Mt. Vernon Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a young man who is considered a runaway. Alex Williams, also known as Alex Beppler is a runaway and his family has not had any contact from him in a week. Alex is believed to still be in the Mt. Vernon area. A photo of Alex can be seen on the MVPD Facebook page. Anyone having information on Alex’s location is asked to contact the Mt. Vernon Police Department at 242-2131.
