(RICHVIEW, IL) — The Washington County Sheriff’s Office confirms they are investigating an incident that reportedly occurred Sunday in rural Richview that resulted in an alleged elderly victim being taken to the hospital. Deputy Tommy Moss says the incident did not involve a home invasion and calls the incident “isolated”. Moss says the sheriff’s office will be issuing a press release when additional information is available. Other sources confirm a 79-year-old rural Richview woman was transported to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia for treatment of injuries suffered in the incident.
