Dix — A rural Dix man lost his camper to a fire early Sunday morning. Jefferson Fire Protection District reports indicate they were called to the home of William Fields on North Lopez Lane northeast of Dix around 5:30 AM on Sunday morning.

Kell Fire was called for mutual aid, but the cause of the fire is not known. No injuries were reported.
