CARBONDALE – The Illinois Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting on Tuesday January 24 from 4-7 p.m. at the Bonnie Village Hall for the proposed roadway improvements on Illinois 37 in Jefferson County. The proposed improvements on Illinois 37 would extend from Bunny Farm Road just south of Interstate 64 to Campground Road just north of Bonnie. The project consists of milling and resurfacing, super-elevation correction, addition of five-foot hot mix asphalt and three-foot aggregate shoulders, culvert replacements, and side slope improvements.
