Jeanne Barber, age 62, of Centralia, Illinois, passed away at her home on Sunday, April 5, 2026.

She was born on December 24, 1963, and lived in Centralia for many years.

Jeanne was a kind, sweet soul.  She was quiet and observant, but she also liked to socialize and be around others.  She enjoyed reading magazines and books, writing in notebooks, and doing puzzles.  She liked to be pampered during spa days, getting her hair and nails done.  She also enjoyed kicking back with a good movie or tv show.  She will be missed by her friends at Bryan Manor.

A graveside service for Jeanne Barber will be held at East Lawn Cemetery in Salem on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Jim Chapman officiating.  Crouse Funeral Home in Salem is assisting with arrangements.
