Barbara Graham, 90, of Mt. Vernon, passed away at 2:51 a.m., Sunday, December 28, 2025, at her home.

            She was born August 7, 1935, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Steve and Della (House) Hayes.  On August 27, 1952, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, she married Robert E. Graham, and he preceded her in death on November 16, 2010.

            She attended Old Union School in Mt. Vernon, and was a member at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon. She was a homemaker and house keeper, and had previously worked at PNH Hurst and the Register News.  She loved her flowers, trips, and most of all, all of her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids.  She also loved cooking and baking for her family and friends that she adored.  She was an amazing mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

            She is survived by children, Dennis Graham and wife Pamela, Sheila Mosier and husband Ronnie, Kevin Graham, Chris Graham, and Tony Graham and wife Shannon, all of Mt. Vernon; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; Brother, Marvin Hayes; and sisters, Irene Madlen and Phyllis Crowe.

            In addition to her husband, Robert Graham, she was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Mike Graham and Steven Graham; brothers, Walter Hayes, Steven Hayes, J.C. Hayes, Jake Hayes, and Robbie Hayes; and sisters, Wanda Mitchell, Marie Pierce, and Betty Brumley.

Funeral services for Mrs. Graham will be held at 12:00 p.m. (noon), Friday, January 2, 2026, at the Osborn Funeral Home in Dix.  Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Friday, January 2, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service, at the funeral home.  Memorial gifts may be made to the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, and will be accepted at the service, or by mail to the Osborn Funeral Home, P.O.
