MT. VERNON – The intersection of 12th Street and Richview Road/Wilshire Drive in Mt. Vernon is closed today so the road repair phase of the sewer line replacement project can begin.
According to a City of Mt. Vernon press release, the length of the closure depends on weather and concrete curing conditions which may take longer due to colder temperatures.
Once this repair is finished, crews will continue moving west following the same progression used during the sewer line replacement.
You should avoid the area and take other routes.
