CENTRALIA – A Centralia man is in the Marion County Jail for child pornography.

According to Centralia Police, police from the Illinois Attorney General’s office, Centralia Police and the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the 1300 block of Dean Thursday. They were looking for 39-year-old Thomas L. Jones. Jones was not there. Sheriff’s deputies and Illinois Attorney General Police found Jones at his workplace in Salem, where he was taken into custody without incident.

Several electronic items were recovered from the home and are currently being analyzed by the Illinois Attorney General Office Police.

Jones was taken to jail charged with four counts of Dissemination of Child Pornography, a Class X felony.
