INA (RLC NEWS) – Dr. J. Ryan Willis and Dr. Jerrold C. Willis, both of Mt. Vernon, have been named as the 2025 Alumni of the Year by the Rend Lake College Foundation.
On Oct. 23, Dr. Ryan Willis was surprised by RLCF staff, a few of his coworkers at Deaconess Illinois Crossroads, his aunt, Deborah T. Willis, and his wife, Tara Willis, who announced that he would be one of the alumni honored with Alumni of the Year.
Dr. Ryan Willis then facetimed his uncle, Dr. Jerrold Willis, to share the news that they both will be celebrated as alumni.
Both men will be recognized at the 46th annual Rend Lake College Foundation Dinner next Thursday at the RLC Event Center. This event is one of many ways the Foundation raises money for the school and student scholarships.
