MT. VERNON – The Deaconess Illinois Crossroads Auxiliary has received a generous donation of nearly $2,000 from John & Patti Bach with IWA Productions, raised during their annual Breast Cancer Awareness Wrestling Show.

This long-standing community event continues to play a meaningful role in supporting breast health services for women in Jefferson County and surrounding areas.

The funds will be used to directly support patients through the Deaconess Illinois Crossroads Mammography Department.

“This donation goes far beyond dollars—it translates into real impact for women in our community,” said Carolyn Marks, President of the Deaconess Illinois Crossroads Auxiliary. “Support like this helps ensure more women are aware of the real risks that breast cancer imposes. We are deeply grateful to Patti, John and the entire IWA Productions family for their continued generosity and commitment.”

The annual event holds special meaning for Patti Bach, both a leader in the wrestling organization and a breast cancer survivor.

“Donating these funds is personal for me,” she said. “As a survivor, I know how important early detection and support are. Every year, our community shows up with heart, strength and solidarity—and we’re honored to give back.”

This contribution marks another year of partnership between IWA Productions and the Deaconess Illinois Crossroads Auxiliary, strengthening community outreach and improving access to lifesaving breast health awareness throughout the region.
