Jerry Ray Collier of The Villages, Florida passed away June 26,2025 age 87.

Jerry was born in Salem, September 22,1937.  Preceding him in death are his parents Noble and Thelma Bryant Collier and one sister, Saundra Jean.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Meador Collier and several nieces and nephews.

Jerry graduated SCHS in 1955. During his life, he served in the U.S. Navy as a 3rd class petty officer and musician playing the saxophone and clarinet in the Admirals band. Jerry worked in the Shoe Industry for 44 years and lived overseas with Pat in Uruguay, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Mainland China as an International Shoe Consultant. His favorite vacation place to travel and spend time with Pat was in Maui, Hawaii. He was a certified scuba diver, an avid golfer and loved fishing. He was of the Christian faith being baptized in Discovery Bay Anglican Church in Hong Kong April 1998. A member of The Disciples of Christ Christian Church in Florida. He was retired, living in The Villages, Florida.

Jerry’s final wish was to be cremated.  A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem.  A graveside service will follow at 11:15 am at East Lawn Cemetery in Salem with Military Rites by the Salem American Legion.  Online condolences can be left at www.CrouseFH.com
