MT. VERNON – “Small Town, Common Ground” will be the theme for this year’s Fall Fest in Mt. Vernon Sept. 26-27 according to Mt. Vernon Festivals, Inc.

According to Festival Director Angela Schrum, the theme was inspired by city’s newest downtown destination, The Commons. This year’s theme celebrates the unity, spirit, and shared experiences that bring our community together.

There will be live music, local food, arts and crafts, family-friendly entertainment, a kid’s zone, parade, and more. In keeping with the theme, there will also be special programming at The Commons, including a pre-parade health expo, local entertainment, and community showcases.
