CENTRALIA, IL — Centralia Police have arrested three Mt. Vernon residents following an investigation into a home invasion that took place early Tuesday morning on Bicknell Street. 21-year-old Leshanna Derixson, 21-year-old Lee Derixson, and 21-year-old Eric Nabors, face charges including home invasion, mob action, and property damage. Leshanna Derixson is also charged with aggravated battery for allegedly striking one of the residents with a bat, resulting in that resident’s hospitalization. The altercation started when the trio attempted to reclaim items left behind after moving out. The same resident who was injured with the bat had reportedly cut Lee Derixson with a knife earlier, though he did not require hospital treatment.
