CHESTER, Ill. — A 33-year-old Chester man has been arrested on a dozen felony counts accusing him of possessing child pornography.

Brian Fricke is facing 12 Class 2 felony charges for the possession of child pornography. He was arrested on April 3 after a search warrant was conducted in response to an investigation regarding child pornography.

The investigation began on February 15 and involved the Illinois State Police and the Illinois Attorney General’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

The ISP was assisted during the investigation by the Chester Police Department and the case was prosecuted by the Randolph County States Attorney James Kelley.
