Dorothy Elaine Latham, 94, of Loves Park, Illinois, passed away on April 24, 2022 at her residence in Loves Park, Illinois.
She was born March 25, 1928 in Sadorus, Illinois to the late “Mac” Frederick McKinley and Frieda (Bialeschki) Reeker. Dorothy is survived by her son, John Wesley Latham of Loves Park, Illinois; sister-in-law, Shirley Reeker of Mount Vernon, Illinois; brother-in-law, Bob Hughes of O’ Fallon, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her daughter, Sheilah Taylor and siblings, Beverly Hughes and Fred Reeker.
Dorothy loved to garden. She was a wonderful cook and will be dearly missed.
A Visitation will be held Sunday, May 1, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 pm with Reverend Jim Peak officiating.
