CENTRALIA, IL — Both drivers of a Friday morning crash in the 1300 block of East Calumet were taken to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia. According to Centralia police, 40-year-old Chad Boyce and 29-year-old Erin Witzel, both of Centralia were injured in the crash just before 8 a.m. Friday.
Centralia City firefighters had to extricate one of the drivers after their vehicle door would not open. Both drivers were moved to ambulances via backboards.
