CENTRALIA, IL — On Thursday morning, the US Marshal’s Service forced entry into a Centralia home in search of a man wanted in Champaign County.
According to police, they went to a home in the 1200 block of South Pine Street in search of 29-year-old Joseph Carpenter Moore. He was allegedly found hiding in the home after 30-year-old Megan Caraway allegedly told the US Marshal he was not there.
Moore was taken into custody on two failures to appear warrants for manufacture or delivery of cannabis. Bond on the warrants was set at $200,000. Caraway was charged with felony concealing or aiding a fugitive.
Centralia and Central City Police officers provided perimeter support.
