CENTRALIA, IL — Two Centralia residents have been arrested on multiple drug charges following a traffic stop that reportedly revealed drugs in their vehicle and later in their home.

According to Centralia police, officers stopped a vehicle being driven by 50-year-old John Willis

and reportedly located a small amount of cocaine and meth, in the vehicle and on Willis, as well as on his an 32-year-old passenger Samantha Horton.

Willis and Horton reportedly live in the same home in the 500 block of North Poplar.

A search warrant was ultimately secured and executed at their home Monday where officers report finding 130 grams of fentanyl, five grams of methamphetamine, and digital scales. Willis and Horton were subsequently arrested and taken to the Marion County Jail on charges of manufacture with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of meth, possession of cannabis, and possession of drug paraphernalia.  

Willis was also arrested for driving on a suspended license as a result of the traffic stop.
