CUTLER, IL — A Du Quoin woman was injured in a crash involving a SUV and a semi in Randolph County Tuesday afternoon.

According to Illinois State Police, 47-year-old Amanda Daily of Cobden was driving a semi with trailer south on County Line Road north of Black Stump Road near Cutler as an SUV driven by 46-year-old Andrea Cashion of Du Quoin was going north at the same location, crossed the center line and struck the semi on the driver’s side and the rear of the trailer being pulled.

After striking the trailer, Cashion’s SUV left the roadway to the left, striking a ditch embankment and overturning. Cashion was transported by ambulance to a regional hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Daily reported no injuries.

Cashion was cited for Improper Lane Usage and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.
