MARION, IL — A man has been arrested on gun and drug charges after the Marion Police Department’s Narcotics Unit carried out a search warrant at a home in the 1200 block of North Logan Street Monday.

According to Marion Police, during the search warrant, the Narcotics Unit found numerous firearms that included rifles, short-barreled rifles, shotguns and pistols; numerous drum magazines, numerous high-capacity magazines, body armor, cocaine, methamphetamine, prescription-controlled substances, LSD, MDMA, U.S. currency, drug records and proof of residence.

41-year-old Nicholas Lattuca was cited for Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon (No FOID/Possession of Body Armor), Possession of 100 to 400 grams of Cocaine with the Intent to Deliver, Possession of 30 to 500 grams of Cannabis with the Intent to Deliver, Possession of Controlled Substance (2 counts – LSD and Suboxone) and Possession of Methamphetamine (2 counts – MDMA and Meth).

Lattuca was taken to the Williamson County Jail where he will await future court proceedings.
