Fourth person arrested in connection to September Iuka burglary

MARION COUNTY, IL — A 31-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a September burglary in rural Iuka, making him the fourth person arrested for the alleged incident. According to the Marion County Sheriff’s Department, Nathan Watts was arrested Saturday on charges of burglary and criminal damage to property.

Three others, 28-year-old Slade Thompson, 22-year-old Kelby Firnhaber, and 20-year-old Kaitlin Hollingshead were arrested earlier in connection with the burglary of one of two buildings on the farm property.

A rental truck reportedly stolen from Salem was apparently used in the burglary.
