CENTRALIA, IL — Two other people have been caught up in a joint drug operation that resulted in multiple arrests and the raids of three Centralia residences Thursday morning. According to federal court files, unsealed Friday, 32-year-old Jennifer Branson, of Salem, and 39-year-old Tyrone “TG” Etheridge, of Centralia, have been indicted on one count each of possession with the intent to distribute 50 grams of more of methamphetamine on or about October 13, 2021, in Marion County. Branson was reportedly arrested when she went in to the Centralia Police Department to pick up another person who was taken in for questioning. Officers were aware of the federal arrest warrant for Branson on the meth distribution charge and took her into custody before transporting her to the Marion County Jail. They’re both scheduled to be arraigned in federal court on Wednesday.

The charges stem from a drug raid Thursday on three separate Centralia homes – two in the 300 block North Elm Street and one in the 1000 block of Case Street. The three people arrested include 31-year-old Ricardo Little, of Centralia, who was arrested at the Case Street residence, 29-year-old Ricosha Young, formerly of Centralia, was arrested at her home in Mt. Vernon, and 40-year-old Bobby Everett was arrested at one of the two North Elm Street homes.

Centralia Police Chief Greg Dodson said in a Thursday press release that search warrants executed on the three homes resulted in law enforcement seizing meth, fentanyl, marijuana, several firearms, ammunition, and US currency, which could lead to additional charges. Little and Young are named in a one-count federal complaint alleging that on or about October 13th they possessed with the intent to distribute 50 grams or more of meth. According to a special agent out of the Fairview Heights office of the FBI, a confidential source contacted Young to arrange for the purchase of $2,000 worth of meth. Young advised the source she was out of town and to go to her brother Ricardo Little at 1208 Case Street in Centralia to purchase the drugs. The confidential source was reportedly provided the money from FBI funds and completed the purchase from Little, which was contained in three separate baggies that tested positive after being transported to the Centralia Police Department. Little allegedly told the source during the purchase that he wanted $600 per ounce for the methamphetamine.

Federal court documents also name Everett in a one-count federal complaint alleging on or about September 14th, 2021, he possessed with the intent to distribute 50 grams or more of meth. The special agent testified before a federal judge that on September 14th, a confidential source was provided $1,200 in FBI funds to make a purchase from Everett and returned with approximately 58 grams of a substance that is awaiting DEA lab confirmation as being methamphetamine.
