MT. VERNON, IL — On Friday, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office along with the Mt. Vernon Police Department reported the following arrest(s) to WMIX/WDML News;

22–year-old Darius Turner of Mt. Vernon was arrested Thursday by the Mt.Vernon Police Department for Aggravated Battery to a Peace Officer & Resisting/Obstructing an Officer.
