MARION COUNTY, IL — Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested two Salem men Friday night as they were allegedly in the process of burglarizing a home in the 2900 block of Green Street Road.

According to arrest records, deputies reportedly found 21-year-old Alexander Brown and 24-year-old Timothy Sullens next to their truck outside the home that was in the process of being remodeled.

The two men reportedly kicked in a door to the home and then allegedly removed tile flooring and other items.

A relative of the home owner reportedly notified the sheriff’s department of what he believed to be a burglary in progress.
