FRANKLIN COUNTY, IL — Franklin County Sheriff David Bartoni recently presented Deputy Jared Anthis and former Deputy Ray Minor III with Lifesaving Awards.

According to Franklin County Chief Deputy Kyle Bacon, the two deputies along with Firefighter Travis Skinner and Christopher Police Officer Andy Trogolo rescued a woman from a burning home in the Fall of last year.

Because of their brave and selfless effort, a loss of life was prevented.

Bacon says the sheriff’s office is thankful for their service to the citizens of Franklin County.
