MT. VERNON, IL — On Thursday, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office along with the Mt. Vernon Police Department reported the following arrest(s) to WMIX/WDML News;

28-year-old Elijah Tiggens of Berwyn was arrested Wednesday by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office for Aggravated Unlawful Restraint and Kidnaping.

63-year-old Samuel Lusby of Woodlawn was arrested Wednesday by the JCSO for Retail Theft & Violation of Bail Bond.
