MT. VERNON, IL — A 35-year-old Mt. Vernon man was sentenced Thursday in Jefferson County Court to 20-years in prison for his role in the delivery of between 15 and 100 grams of methamphetamine. Antonio Foulks pleaded guilty Thursday to a Class X felony charge of delivery of between 15-100 grams of meth. A Class X charge of aggravated delivery of meth was dismissed per the plea agreement.

Foulks was arrested in February after an ongoing investigation into drugs in the Mt. Vernon area resulted in the Mt. Vernon Police Department/Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office High Risk Team executing a drug search warrant at 12188 East Oakton Road Lot #1 in rural Mt. Vernon. Foulks was arrested with another resident of the home, 34-year-old Dana M. Ince. Ince pleaded guilty earlier to a reduced charge of methamphetamine delivery and was sentenced to 6-years in prison.

Foulks is still facing a Class 1 felony Criminal Sexual Assault of a family member in a separate Jefferson County case and is scheduled to appear at a pre-trial hearing on that charge in September.
