SALEM, IL — Two people have been arrested in connection with a threatening video call in which a handgun was reportedly displayed. According to Salem police, they arrested 19-year-old Christopher Goff, of Salem, on a charge of aggravated assault for allegedly making the threatening call.

Police also arrested 22-year-old Damond Crosby, also of Salem, for obstruction of justice for allegedly refusing to spell his first name for police. According to police, the incident occurred after a non-physical confrontation at the Salem Huck’s Store between the alleged victim and Goff and Crosby.

Both men were taken to the Marion County Jail and released after posting bond.
