SOUTHERN ILLINOIS (WBC/DANA COMM.) — You might think your garden plans are limited to the summer months, but there is a wide range of crops that tolerate cool temperatures as well. The U of I Extension offices in Bond, Clinton, Marion, Jefferson, and Washington Counties are prepping those of you with green thumbs for cool season vegetables with their newest online seminar February 22nd.

Agriculture & Natural Resource Program Coordinator Chris Lueking says the online seminar will show how to establish your cool season crops in February and March as well as which ones can also be planted in the fall.

Lueking says when you register for the seminar link; you can submit a question for the Q&A session ahead of time.
