ILLINOIS (RFD) — As a large winter storm bears down again on parts of Illinois a snow-plow driver says slow down and drive safely.

Brian Mendenhall with IDOT says crews will be ready to fight what ever mother nature cooks up this winter. And if you do encounter a plow on the interstate or anywhere on the roadways, and its safe to do – you can pull ahead of a plow.

Most of the snow is expected for northern Illinois while the southern part of the state would be more likely to see freezing rain. For local road conditions you can go to gettingaroundillinois.com.
