CENTRALIA, IL — A 30-year-old Centralia man was arrested Friday night after he allegedly fled an attempted traffic stop at Broadway and Hickory in Centralia. TJ Chumley stopped on Randolph Drive after reportedly refusing to stop for the initial attempt at Broadway and Hickory.

According to Centralia police, while taking Chumley into custody, officers allegedly found he was in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

He was taken to the Marion County Jail to await the formal filing of charges and the setting of bail.
