MT. VERNON , IL — Everyone loves cookies and the Christmas season brings out the best recipes to share with others. The First Presbyterian Church in Mt. Vernon is planning to share delicious desserts with the public on Saturday, December 5th from 9-noon at their new location, 3205 Broadway, during their annual cookie walk.
Sue Tomlin with the church says this year’s cookie walk will also feature a drive-thru option.
Tomlin also says if you choose to come into the church instead of utilize the drive-thru option, they are only allowing 10 people in the building at a time. If you have any questions, call the church at 618-242-3410
