MT. VERNON, IL — Twice a year, most change their clocks and, twice a year, they also debate whether we should continue the ritual of spring forward and fall back. For the foreseeable future, that ritual is not going anywhere and neither is the change in your sleep schedule the whole week after daylight saving time.

Stacy Coultas works in the Sleep Disorders Center at Crossroads Community Hospital. She says daylight saving time is not the main worry for those who are already not getting the restful night’s sleep they need.

You can call the sleep lab at Crossroads Community Hospital at 618-241-8667 if you feel you’re not getting your necessary rest and schedule your sleep study.
