MARION — A new drive-in theatre is set to open on Friday, Oct. 30 in Marion. Construction has been completed for “The Oasis,” located in the parking lot of the Marion Mall.

The Oasis will host a football tailgate event prior to the SIU and SEMO Game and then show a double feature on Halloween Night with “Casper” followed by “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.”

The drive-in features amphitheater style parking surrounding a massive 36×50 foot LED screen standing 60-feet above the freshly paved parking lot. The parking lot capacity is approximately 500 vehicles.
