MT. VERNON, IL — Mt. Vernon Mayor John Lewis issued a proclamation making this Business Women’s Week.

Gwen Gross-Hails is the President of the Mt. Vernon Business Women’s Club. She says the club tries to do something different each day this week to celebrate business women in the community.

The BWC meets the second Monday of every month at Kingdom Seed Ministries in Mt. Vernon. Hails says all are welcome in their club but especially those looking to volunteer in their community.
