MARION COUNTY, IL — A 31-year-old Centralia woman was arrested Saturday on an outstanding Marion County warrant and on multiple new charges following a traffic stop by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies on northbound Interstate 57 just north of Salem.

Samantha Horton was reportedly a passenger in the car and was taken to the Marion County Jail on charges of possession of methamphetamine, obstructing justice, possession of stolen property, and on an outstanding Marion County felony warrant.

The warrant was for failure to appear for sentencing on a petition to revoke her probation on an original conviction for possession of under five grams of methamphetamine.
