MARION COUNTY — Starting September 24th the Marion County Clerk’s office will be open from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday thru Friday for early voting and vote by mail ballot drop off.

The Clerk’s office will be sending out news releases in mid-September to help inform the public of the early voting opportunities.

The Clerk’s office has some latitude to set the schedule for Saturday early voting and they look at the volume and base it on need.

The Clerk’s office will be open the final Saturday before the election, October 31, 2020, for early voting.

If the early voting is strong enough, County Clerk Steve Fox has indicated that they will hold more Saturday dates, and we’ll bring you those times and dates when they’re released.

Vote by mail ballots will start going out on September 24th. Voters are encouraged to send them back by mid-October to make sure they are delivered by the post office by Election Day.
