MARION COUNTY — A 26-year-old Centralia man was charged Monday in Marion County Court with possession of a stolen vehicle following his arrest over the weekend.

According to the Marion County Sheriff’s Department, Anthony Linder was arrested at the Circle K convenience store in Centralia while in possession of a vehicle that had been reportedly taken earlier from a residence on Cross Road. He was subsequently taken to the Marion County Jail.

Linder was formally charged Monday in court with Class 2 felony possession of a stolen vehicle.

Bail in the case was set at $5,000 and a preliminary hearing and first appearance with court-appointed counsel is scheduled for September 3.
