SPRINGFIELD, IL (RFD) — The state is moved to phase 4 of Governor JB Pritzker’s reopening plan Friday. It allows inside training at gyms and health clubs as well as for restaurants to seat dine-in customers among other things. But just how long will Illinois be in phase 4?
Pritzker’s plan for movement to phase 5 includes widespread treatment or a vaccine. He didn’t budge on what a move to the next phase looks like but he does says if key metrics including hospital utilization rates and ICU capacity remains low then changes could be coming to the current phase – perhaps a phase 4.5.
The Illinois Gaming Board announced late Thursday night that in-person gaming at casinos will begin on July 1st.
