MT. VERNON, IL — Lifeboat Alliance is hosting a Volunteer Seminar this Wednesday at 1pm at their facility on Jefferson Avenue in Mt. Vernon.

Jennifer McArthy is the Executive Director of Lifeboat. She says the seminar, along with guest speaker Amy Kemp, will help volunteers find the balance between knowing and understanding ‘self’ and fitting that within the context of a team.

Guest Speaker Amy Kemp says she hopes to help volunteers or just those seeking more information assess their own skills not just for Lifeboat.
