MT. VERNON, IL — Cedarhurst Center for the Arts is the recipient of a $10,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. The award is part of more than $84 million in grants approved by Chairman Mary Anne Carter as part of the Arts Endowment’s second major funding announcement for fiscal year 2020.

Director of Development Hillary Esser says this grant wouldn’t be possible if it wasn’t for community support.

Esser says the outdoor sculptures have become iconic landmarks for Mt. Vernon.

Cedarhurst will re-open their Sculpture Park this Saturday, June 13th, welcoming visitors 10am-5pm Tuesday through Saturday, and 1-5pm on Sunday. For more information about Cedarhurst, visit Cedarhurst.org.
