MCLEANSBORO — The McLeansboro City Council is set to possibly take action on replacing the Market Street bridge at Tuesday night’s meeting.

The bridge replacement has been touched on at meetings the past few months, with council members saying it needs to be replaced soon.

The council will also discuss and possible approve a beer garden license, the purchase of a new or used mowing tractor, and constructing a lean-to shed near the city light plant, along with mayoral appointments to be presented to the council.
