HARRISBURG — The Harrisburg City Council approved multiple vehicle purchases at their meeting Thursday night.

The council approved purchasing a truck for the fire department from Jim Hayes Ford. The cost of the truck is just over $26,000.

Also approved was a track hoe purchase for the water and sewer department from Little Tractor for $49,000 and a dump truck purchase for the street and alley department from Sternberg for just under $119,000.

The council will meet again Thursday, June 18 at 6 p.m. at Harrisburg City Hall.
