The 92nd Illinois FFA convention is going to look and feel a little different. The FFA Board has decided to move the event to a virtual one. Illinois FFA Executive Director Mindy Bunselmeyer says the convention will spread over a few weeks. But elections and other business will happen virtually between June 9th and 11th.
Bunselmeyer acknowledges it has been disappointing for the state officers to have this decision made – but they understand and are now working hard on a whole new way to connect with FFA members.
Bunselmeyer says it’s her hope that going virtually will allow even more people to be a part of the convention.
