Illinois Golf Courses Open Under Strict Guidelines

ILLINOIS (RFD) — Golf courses across Illinois are reopening today, one of the areas allowed to reopen under the governor’s revised “stay at home” order. There are strict rules courses must follow, like playing only in twosomes, practice greens and driving ranges must remain closed, and tee times must be spaced out every 15 minutes.

Illinois PGA President Jim Miller says it’s important for courses and golfers to follow the guidelines.

Including golf, some state parks will begin to reopen under Gov. JB Pritzker’s modified order which runs through the end of the month.
