SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois stay at home order has been extended. Thursday afternoon Governor JB Pritzker announced he would extend the order to May 31st.
It’s been governing by executive order during the coronavirus pandemic for Gov. Pritzker and he says he wants nothing more than to stop having to govern under a disaster proclamation.
Thursday afternoons update from the state saw the number of cases rising by 1,826 which included 123 deaths. The total number of cases in Illinois is now 36,934 and 1,688 total deaths.
