CHANGES COULD BE COMING FOR STAY AT HOME ORDER SAYS GOV. PRITZKER

SPRINGFIELD – The state has a stay-at-home order through April 30th. That means non-essential businesses will remain closed for the next two weeks and no school either. Governor JB Pritzker says by May 1 there certainly could be changes to his executive order.

Pritzker notes both the public’s economic as well as physical health will have to be considered when reopening Illinois.

1,222 new cases of COVID-19 were announced Tuesday afternoon with 74 more deaths. That brings the total number of cases in Illinois to 23,247 and the death total to 868.
